Frequently Asked Questions

We understand that selling land can raise a lot of questions — especially if you’ve never done it before. That’s why we’ve answered the most common ones right here.

How long does the process take?

Most offers are sent within 48–72 hours. We can typically close in 10–21 days, but we allow up to 90 days in the contract to give you flexibility and peace of mind.

What kind of land do you buy?

We buy nearly all types of land, including rural acreage, residential lots, inherited land, off-grid or undeveloped parcels, and land with unique use cases like advertising or recreation.

Do I need to pay any fees or commissions?

No. We never charge fees or commissions. We cover all closing costs, and what we offer is what you walk away with — no surprises.

Can I sell if I have unpaid property taxes?

Yes. We often buy land with unpaid taxes. At closing, we work with the title company to ensure the tax debt is paid directly from the sale proceeds — you don’t need to pay anything up front.

What if the land is in probate?

We can still work with you. Many of our sellers have inherited land that’s going through probate. We’re experienced in helping sellers navigate this and can provide guidance during the process.

Do I need a real estate agent?

No. We buy directly from landowners, which means there are no agent fees or listing delays. We handle the paperwork and title work for you.

Will I need to clean up or improve the land?

No. We buy land “as-is” — even if it’s remote, overgrown, or not easily accessible. No clean-up or prep is needed.

How will I get paid?

After closing, you’ll receive your payment by check or wire transfer through a reputable title company or mobile notary — whichever method you prefer.
